MindDate is a global breathwork school founded by Nic Jordan and Tobias Malm, based between Stockholm and Ericeira, Portugal. We blend breath, music, sound healing, nervous system education, trauma-informed facilitation and coaching. Two people, two very different doors into the same work.
N I C J O R D A N
Nic is a breathwork facilitator, life coach, yoga instructor, and a trauma-informed space holder to her core. She spent years collecting trainings and methods, and still hit a ceiling with her clients.
Then she lost her brother to suicide. Breathwork found her in the rubble, and it stayed.
Today Nic carries the emotional depth of MindDate: safety, integration, the nervous system, and the quiet skill of holding a room while it feels. If you have ever heard someone say a session with her felt like being held, you have heard her craft at work.

Toby is a music producer who found breathwork through sound. Frequency, BPM, the way a track can carry a room from activation into stillness. He calls it the sonic architecture of a session, and then he grins and admits that respiration is just a fancy word for breathing.
Every MindDate session moves to music he has written himself. You can hear his work on Spotify under MindDate Music, and our facilitators train and teach with his ever growing library.
The other side of Toby is sport. He coaches performance and functional breathing: CO2 tolerance, BOLT scores, breathing for recovery, and protocols for athletes who want more out of their engine. The same nervous system, approached from the training field instead of the mat.

When Nic and Toby started running sessions together, students kept saying the same thing: this feels different. The safety and the science in one room, the tenderness and the rhythm. That feedback became MindDate. Since 2023 we have certified more than 150 facilitators, guided more than 10,000 people, and held rooms from private sessions to a gathering of around two thousand. James Nestor, author of Breath, joins as a guest speaker. Spotify and Klarna bring us in for their teams.
“To awaken facilitators who lead from truth, embody safety and radiate transformation.”
These days we teach online first, with in-person immersions in Portugal. Partly because the work travels well. Mostly because of a small boy named Ocean who likes his parents home for bedtime.
